FINALLY! I got the report back on my boobs. It's ... *drum roll* fibroglandular material. Long story short, a portion of the boob-having population has this fibrous stuff, and it's not necessarily dangerous, just dense. I doubt my GP is going to want to do much about it, but I'm going to shoot them an email and just follow up. So I suppose that's that for now.

The kombucha scoby finally got here, and since I only have half-gallon brew jars and this is enough for a one gallon brew, I split it in half. But I'm considering splurging on a nice one-gallon ceramic crock, since I have "points" with KBBK and they sent me a coupon. So for now the two scobys are called Fanny and Gertrude. There also wasn't as much starter liquid as I'd thought, so it might take longer for this first batch to brew up.

This would actually be a pretty good day if Google Music wasn't being weird. It won't play for long, and it drops out a lot. I have no idea what's going on with them, but sometimes the service is just really terrible, then the next day it's fine again.

I have a fibroid in my uterus, so I know the deal. it just hangs out there. hopefully it won't get bigger, though.
these things happen, I s'pose!
I've also had google music issues. they need to get with the program :P haha

I had a uterine fibroid a couple of years ago that got infected and sent me to the hospital with septicemia. Because searing pain for weeks on end wasn't a tip-off to me that something was wrong :D
They removed it surgically. I spent five days in the hospital switching between Cartoon Network, SyFy, and the I Wanna Go Home channels.

ouch! wth. I'm so sorry you went through that! and, I'm shocked. no one told me it could get infected! wow. thanks so much for sharing this with me. I *thought* I was well informed.

I didn't even know I had one until then. I had occasional pain for three weeks or so - it would get intense and then back off. It wasn't menstrual pain since I have an IUD and don't have periods. But I'd say if you start getting unusually bad cramps and pain there, definitely go poke a doctor. I had ignored/tried to tough mine out for so long even antibiotics wouldn't touch it.

I do have pain. and I do have periods. I don't use any form of contraception.
maybe I'll speak to doc a little the next time we see each other.
the personal information you've given me is invaluable, though.
I prefer it over textbook medical stuff. it's too general.
