The Friday Five - Soupy

2. What is your favorite soup? Normally either tomato and basil, or ramen. Homemade ramen, not the little instant packet kind.
3. What kind of soup would you like to try, but never have? Pho. I have no idea why, considering we have a lot of good pho places around Jax.
4. Is stew just a soup with extra ingredients? Not necessarily. I would say the defining difference is in cooking time. Stew implies a long, slow simmer, whereas a soup can be ready in as little as half an hour. Gumbo is a stew. Bisque is not.
5. If you were a soup, what soup would you be and why? Probably that "demon ramen" in Tokyo that people have to sign a waiver to order.
