It's a Sign!

We were waiting for a sign, and here it is.
Yep - that's our little piece of highway. This is the northern end, and it goes one mile (lol) south to Mendoza Trail where there should be another sign. I'll find out today on my run. I'm becoming wary of heading north on 315 because several times now I've seen strange dogs running loose. Whoever owns them obviously doesn't care about them much, and I'm not interested in seeing another dog get hit by a truck, so my new routine is going to be running south towards McRae for now.
Last week, Publix had a great special on whole brisket. I bought a smallish one and smoked it, and we're still eating on it. Today I'm planning to make a couscous salad with some fresh mozzarella, maybe some bell peppers, and brisket. I wonder if it has to do with St Patrick's Day? Usually they have flats on sale for making corned beef. I make a great corned beef using Alton Brown's recipe. Just sayin'. This brisket also made a terrific gyudon - the fattier cuts from the point really flavored the broth.
I need to start the process for renewing my passport soon. I mean, I assume we'll still have a country, and I assume I'll be allowed to have a passport, and I'm running on a whole bunch of other assumptions here. It'll be a pain in the ass if it lapses and I have to start over though. We're not planning to go anywhere anytime very soon, though Fox spotted ridiculously cheap flights to Tokyo leaving from Jax.
