Well Whaddaya Know
Jun. 14th, 2023 06:26 amYesterday afternoon, Garmin wrote back to ask me to send my watch back in. They sent a UPS label and they're going to ship me a replacement, and on my end anyway, it's all sorted. In the meantime, I'm using my older Forerunner 245, which I just shut down but never sold or got rid of.
Guess whose stress levels were WAY down overnight. That same person's resting heart rate was down almost eight points. Their training status is showing as "recovery" instead of "strained."

I am more and more inclined to say my "problems" with increasing heart rate, low variability, and poor sleep quality were just the watch. Whatever problem was interfering with the floor climbing might also have been borking a lot of the other sensors. I don't think I posted about it here, but one day I felt a little "off," so I took a look at the Garmin to see what my heart rate was. Somehow I had a heart rate of 34 BPM with a variability of 245 milliseconds? How is that even possible.
So I'm going out for a run. Got a lot to do today. :D
