Love You Furever
Oct. 27th, 2022 08:09 amI took Nana-cat to the vet yesterday because she was having some trouble breathing. At her advanced age it's an even bigger problem than for a younger cat. The vet recommended a specialist, but gave me some meds to give her at home to hopefully make her more comfortable in the interim. Unfortunately, whether it was the fluid buildup in her chest, the meds, or just Old Cat Syndrome, Nana died during the night.
I have kind of been expecting this, but it's still a blow, you know? I keep looking around the kitchen wondering where Nana is. But then she also bit the everloving shit out of me last night when I gave her a pill, so I have that to remember her by. (Cat molars are very sharp, FYI)
Not sure what else to do with myself so I guess I'll go for a run.
