 I actually did the Spartan virtual thing and didn't die! I have my proof uploaded, hopefully I did that right. I can't believe I actually did all that, even though I train for stuff like this, but then taking on a challenge was the whole point. Today my shoulders, chest, and glutes are letting me know about it, though. I still did a five-mile run this morning but took it at an easy pace. I was considering some yoga this evening but I'm just tired.

It's 85 here right now, but the humidity is so low it doesn't really feel that hot. We'll have to shut the windows and stuff today because it will be too hot to sleep comfortably tonight, but we've had far more nice days throughout April than we normally get, so I can't really complain. If it weren't so late in the afternoon I'd probably at least try to take a nap, even though I've never been very good at that, but at this point I might as well stay up and just go to bed earlier. I'm doing that more often now and it's starting to pay off. I've had a couple of nights in a row of decent sleep and I'm starting to feel better. This week and last I wasn't sleeping well, my nutrition was starting to get sketchy, and I didn't have any real motivation to run or work out but it feels like things are kind of ... righting themselves, I guess. 

I find I'm a little mentally agitated this afternoon and not really sure why. So I think I'll make some tea and maybe get a shower. I'm going to try to just chill for a while and see if whatever this is works itself out. It usually does - it's just anxiety stirring around and being weird, and it'll pass by this evening. Or tomorrow I'll roll out of bed to feed that cats and make coffee  and feel like my usual self! I wouldn't say I have a naturally sunny, cheerful disposition, but I'm typically a combo of optimistic go-get-'em and laid-back Type B personalities.
