I've gotten tired of not knowing what I'm doing wrong with my garden. I signed up for a spring/summer gardening class coming up next month through the county extension office, because I feel like I'm missing some critical pieces of information, and I want someone to go through the whole thing step by step with me. I wish I'd gotten more gardening know-how growing up but my parents were more likely to tell me to go back in the house, or don't touch anything and stay out of the way. Or Carolyn's famous phrase, "You don't need to know that."

It's cold again this week, but we also marked on the calendar last year when we first saw hummingbirds and put out feeders, so I'm putting one out today on the back deck. That seems to be the most popular spot, so if the birds are around, they'll most likely go there looking for food. Local weather isn't really going to stop their migration. And it's not supposed to be literally freezing, just cold.

Fox got my computer upgraded. There's a little more work to do on it later, when he switches video cards, but it's up and running. I rearranged my desk to accommodate the case because Corsair said it was 19" tall and it's actually 21" and won't fit under the cabinet. Which is fine because it gives me a chance to go through all my peripherals. I have more USB ports, too, so I don't think I need the hub I've been using. On a whim, I started playing Hollow Knight again. I'd forgotten how good that game is. I got so tired of the fandom for a while. As someone who loves metroidvanias I find playing it incredibly fun and satisfying. Even if I did hit the "Greenpath shade glitch" and had to fiddle with my save files.

The upgrade also went great because the cloned drives just work and I don't need to reinstall all my drawing software, fonts, and all that stuff.
