I spent much of my weekend not feeling to great - I'm unsure why or if I was sick, just running low on energy, or what. I feel more or less better today and I'm trying to catch up on stuff I postponed, but I'm still feeling a bit draggy. It may take a few more days to get back into the swing of things.

I keep waiting for our normal summer rain pattern to start up - we're often hot during the first part of the day, and then storms form up over the Atlantic and roll onshore. Sometimes they meet with lines of storms coming from the Gulf and meet in the middle, which can be over us, but it just depends on a lot of different factors. But that daily rain is what I'm really hoping for. It's SO dry lately and one massive storm a week isn't really cutting it.

I may shower up after dinner and call it an early night. Hopefully I feel decent tomorrow as I'd like to run my "magic mile," but if I don't I can always do it this weekend. It's not hugely important right now because I don't really start marathon-focused workouts until next month. Oh yeah - runDisney apparently had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Registration for the Disneyland half marathon was supposed to be today but they had technical problems and no one could get signed up. It looks like this goes way beyond the glitches we deal with on the WDW side of things - the tech shirt size glitch comes to mind - to the point where they put an apology up on the main page. Happily I'm not trying to get into that one, so no stress. I would like to try to get the "Coast to Coast" challenge at some point, but that necessitates going to Disneyland and getting home, and the logistics make my head hurt.

It's getting cloudy again. Fingers crossed it rains a little :D

I know hot weather always leaves me feeling depleted at the end of the day. Hopefully you start to feel better soon, if you haven't already.

Good luck with getting your run in!
