I was sitting around looking at my shelves this morning, and I have several books that I've kept that were given to me by someone who inscribed them on the endpapers. I'd rather not have to look at his handwriting or spend any more brain power on him than I absolutely have to, so my "etiquette question" is can I just cut the endpapers out?

I feel like if I'm going to keep them around I can do whatever I like. If I were going to sell them, I'd leave that up to the buyer.

Another question, but with no context because it's more fun that way - glitter or no glitter?

It's a miserable 78 this morning before the sun even started rising and I have a 45 minute run to do. I'm heading out as soon as my stomach feels settled from breakfast. My marathon training is going pretty well, but I'll be pausing my plan while we're at Disney. Depending on how Fox feels I may or may not get out and run around Fort Wilderness in the early mornings. But it might also be beneficial to take a little time off. Maybe every other day would be all right. It's still far enough out that it shouldn't make a ton of difference, and we'll be walking a lot anyway.

I concur with the others - since you're planning to keep the books anyway, they are absolutely yours to do with as you wish. I wouldn't have even given it extra thought. When the idea came to mind about cutting them out: SNIP! That way you can still enjoy the books without the extra.

No glitter. I've never been a fan.

I'll take your 78 degrees!! It beats my 90s. That, I cannot do.

I say take a break from your training & enjoy :)
