Around here I think it's just the usual big suspects (HughesNet, Cox, etc) and Fastnet. There don't seem to be as many small local ISPs, so I don't really have much familiarity with them. Depending on how much staff they have they may simply be overwhelmed with work - Jeremy had to hire some extra guys after the storms here to just get his radios and stuff back up, not to mention all the "free" network monitoring that Fox does. That's not trying to excuse them - sometimes companies just have crappy customer service.
