The doc only needed to do the air puff twice on each eye to get an acceptable reading, so I feel like I did a Big Grown-Up Thing. It helps that the machine seems different from the one I had to do even ten years ago. I swear the older machines had a nozzle that came out at you, rather than now where there's a large black window and the whole unit gets close to your face, not just the one pointy bit that looks like it's about to poke your eye out. Anyway, that's done. Again, my prescription hasn't changed. I'm in the sweet spot that older nearsighted people go through, where the far-sightedness that comes with age is balancing our other vision problems out. It's possible my sight could even briefly improve before going the other way. But I ordered a new supply of contacts and that's that for another year.
Now to get some art done. Last week was so busy I barely got any drawing time in. I'll try to do an art post later today, or tomorrow.
