Hurricane Idalia Update

It's raining.
That's it. That's the update.

In all seriousness, though, the storm track kept shifting west and north, so we wound up entirely outside the cone. It rained a little overnight, about three-tenths of an inch so far. It's humid and gross and I'll probably go for a short run later.

I did some Stress Baking yesterday so we have shokupan, including an extra loaf for my neighbors, and a batch of miso matcha cookies. Fox and I joked that we did so much prep that we pretty much guaranteed the storm wouldn't hit us.

I'm relieved - I really did not want to deal with several days of no power and all the other stuff that comes after a big hurricane.
