*incoherent screaming*

cdayzee poked me and reminded me I still have an account here! Derp. So what's been going on? Not much, to be honest. Lemme see if I can just pick up where I am now and explain things.
Fox and I are registered for a RunDisney event in October, Wine & Dine. We did not happen to make it into the '23 Dopey Challenge, breaking my five and his four year streak. It was disappointing at first but it's turning into a Good Thing. RunDisney events were becoming, for me anyway, more stressful than fun. There are SO many more participants and it's hard to actually run unless you manage to get good corral placement. People are getting rude and aggressive, and it's just not as much fun any more. NOT doing the marathon weekend not only frees up a lot of time but money as well.
With that, we're looking at getting into ultras. There's a 50k being held right here, in Jennings State Forest this December that we plan to do, and there are other distances that can be run in our area, including a 100-miler I've had an itch to do ever since I learned about it. (The Daytona 100, starting in Ponte Vedra and ending on Daytona Beach) We also are going to be using the non-WDW time to do some hiking and camping and having Florida Adventures. I've never gotten to go camping or anything, which I guess is weird considering how close to the Great Smokey Mountains I grew up. I've been toying with the idea of buying a yearly pass to the state parks and using it to go have a more or less protected place to run and bike.
The solar panels are running with no major problems. We still don't have net metering because the power company can't actually get any of the meters in stock and they're backlogged by over a year. So for right now we just use power during the day with reckless abandon.
I'm slowly getting pages for a longer comic done, and here's the link to it on DeviantArt. 19 pages up so far!

I can't think of too much else now, and I JUST finished cleaning up from dinner. I'm a space case tonight - kind of tired.
