Some Idle Observations

There's been a Shiny Cowbird at the feeder for the last two days. This is an accidental/invasive bird from the West Indies that, according to the maps, you can spot along the Florida coast and all the way up to North Carolina. He hung around most of yesterday, and early this morning was back at the feeder - I can only assume he's lost. It's an interesting time of year to watch the bird feeders, since we can get some unusual migratory species.

I was just poking the Wawa nutrition page and noticed that a new protein option is listed - Beyond Sausage! They seem to have several "test" categories up on their website, I haven't logged into the app to see if I can get any of them. Of course, I think I've mentioned how the nutrition page lists things like roasted vegetables that I've never seen on a menu here, so I'm not going to hold my breath. Anyway I think I'm just going to stop for coffee, as I still have plenty of my spicy roasted veggies for burritos so no need to buy lunch out.

This weekend has been a good time to unsub and block email lists. Every company I've ever bought anything from and several that I haven't have appeared out of the ether to sell me shit. I've been zero-inboxing for a couple of months now and I enjoy the mental ease it brings to glance at my email app and see the "nothing new here!" graphic.
