If Hurricane Idalia keeps tracking northwards, we may be well out of range. It looks like the track already shifted away from us overnight, but you never quite know what a hurricane is going to do so we're still getting ready to at least be without power for a few days. We also filled up gas cans and got enough diesel for the tractor in case we need to do some emergency road work. Otherwise I think today is just detail stuff. I'll get the trash cans washed and put in the garage so that we can use the shed for the generator, cook up some food we can store and just nuke as needed, and by tonight we ought to be feeling the outer storm bands, depending on where it goes.
