A Brief Nicole Update

pshaw_ravenNicole made landfall as a hurricane, but is back down to a tropical storm. I live up in the northeast part of Florida, and right now we're getting a lot of rain and wind. The digital weather station shows over two inches of rainfall, and has recorded our max wind gust at 28.6 mph so far. The power has flickered a little but we're still on.
Something hit the metal roof at around 5 am, and the BANG woke me up. The cats noticed I was awake and immediately began bugging me for their breakfast.
If the power stays on, I plan to make myself a batch of dan dan noodles with some pork and a couple of onsen tamago. If it goes out then I guess it's ham sandwiches.
