It Finally Got Me

pshaw_ravenGuess what I got for my birthday? I got Covid. WTF.
I've been pretty out of it since Saturday, when I tried one of the home test kits we got from H&HS and it turned up positive. I'm still not really functional - I'm perpetually exhausted and the Covid Brain Fog is very real. This morning I waffled between whether it was Monday or Tuesday for almost half an hour, and this is despite looking at a calendar, the Google Home hub with the date on the screen, and saying to myself, "It's Monday, so I don't need to get the trash out for collection." But it was also somehow still Tuesday because ... who knows.
Happily, I had all my shots, so this could probably be a lot worse. But it did make me miss my long run on Sunday.
I haven't been doing much except staring into the void that is Reddit. I keep trying to read books but my inability to focus makes that difficult. I wanted to play a video game, but since my reaction times are like this
I picked a turn-based RPG. Actually I've had Transistor in my library since 2016 and never played much beyond the first boss, so I started a new save file and tried again. I'm enjoying it, and will probably try out Wildermyth again, and see what I can get my dysfunctional band of idiot heroes into.
Mostly I sleep, which I think I'm going to go do more of now.
