There's a recent article in the local newspaper about a deck of playing cards the cops are putting out.
In the spirit of those military decks that have enemy aircraft info on them, this is a deck of cold cases, with pictures of people (mostly women people) and a brief blurb about their disappearance or murder. The headline says local LEOs hope this can help them catch 52 criminals.

So you're definitely ruling out the possibility of a serial killer, I assume? That's a bold step.

Anyway they're handing them out to inmates in local prisons because ... well, that's actually pretty smart.
