Your comment made me have a bit of a brainstorm, and I found a few area salons and shops that welcome transgender clients. All of them are in Jacksonville, so it depends on how much driving I want to do.
Maybe there's just a reluctance among a lot of stylists to do anything too "extreme," even if the client asks for it, for fear they decide they don't like it and blame them?
Since I actually didn't do a bad job on myself, though, I am considering just buying a swing-arm mirror to put up in the bathroom. With both hands free I can probably do even better.
