It's Late But I Did It

I got both of my fruit trees pruned, and we planted a new Key Lime. We'd bought that one a week ago but it's been hanging out in the nursery pot. In the ground though, it'll have a chance to get nice and big. It's also on a sunny side of the house so once it's much older, it might protect the rec room from getting so hot in the summer.
Bonus: it's raining :D
On top of all that, I got the yard mowed and trimmed, and prepped a couple a garden beds, which ought to be ready to plant late next week. I'll be putting Burnout on them to kill off the weeds, then giving it a few days to clear out. Burnout is supposed to be less dangerous to people and animals than glysophate, so we'll see how well that works. One bed is going to be mostly herbs, and since potatoes seemed to take off in the compost, I'm going to see what happens when I plant them on purpose. I might also try napa cabbages, though it might already be too warm. But I've had decent luck growing tatsoi, bok choy, and some other Asian greens that are heat tolerant.
But now I'm tired.
