Not Today

 I've had several nights in a row of poor quality sleep. Less than seven hours, lots of tossing and turning, and just ugh. My brain feels so fried today. Last night when all those storms passed through, I'd wake up when a squall line went by, and earlier in the evening the weather alert radio went off several times with thunderstorm and tornado watches and warnings. We're close enough to the coast that we also get marine warnings and watches.

I might try to take a nap, but napping is something I never got the hang of. I'd rather just power through with several extra cups of Cuban coffee and go to bed at seven. 

I'm still planning to go out for supplies tomorrow. Fox will be able to come with and get out of the house. Shopping goes a little faster with two people anyway. Most stores in our area are now requiring employees to wear masks, and one place stated in their weekly email that they "request that any guests entering the store also be masked." So I feel a lot less weird about it.

I don't see any local news that the storms did major damage here. When the sun was up I went around outside and we don't have large branches down. The power didn't even go out though we had some pretty fierce winds.
