This was a Husqvarna, and we settled on this particular place because one of the signs on the side of the building specifically said they work on those. It's been a pretty reliable little engine for many years, but just recently started having issues, and I was glad they were able to easily fix it. As much as I like some of my electric yard tools, a gas powered engine is better for stuff like tilling soil and running a blade trimmer.
This particular shop cat was exactly what you'd expect - spoiled rotten and extremely friendly, and of course none of the guys actually claim that it's "their" cat. They also refer to her as the shop manager.
Florida 91 is a hybrid that's been designed to thrive in heat and humidity without cracking, and it resists most of the common tomato pests and fungus. Apparently it's meant to do well in zones 9A and B and will have you up to your eyeballs in tomatoes by the end of summer. I'd tried some Roma style tomatoes and they did okay, but I had not really experimented with growing tomatoes that much. Fox seems to be all for the idea, and I'll probably put him to work helping me sauce and can them if we end up with a big harvest.
I'm going to try listing a few of my rare Zox today and see what kind of traffic they get. Apparently I have some very unusual ones, or people just don't sell off these straps, because I can't find them online at all.
