So far he seems to be responding well, he's getting more active. He seems "brighter." His back legs and bladder still don't work well, but we'll work around that and unfortunately for him, he'll have to get used to being bathed. I didn't realize how lethargic he's been until he started doing things like chirping for pets, and swiping at a fly that got in. He even came into the living room to see me earlier this afternoon, and he hasn't really gone much of anywhere besides the kitchen or the shower. Although I think he was also trying to schmooze some cheese crackers off me.
Annnnnd I have Covid. We ordered some of the free tests from Health and Human Services and mine's positive. We think Fox already had it last week - he was complaining about the same set of symptoms, we just didn't think it was that. So it seems like he caught it, has already been sick and recovered, and now I have it. Happily I don't have to go anywhere this week.
Man, I was having a good run, too. I'd avoided this thing since the beginning, LOL. Well, I feel terrible, but since I'm vaxxed and boosted it's probably not nearly as bad as it could be.
