Friday Five (A Day Late)

1. If you could build a dream house, what rooms would it have?
A loft studio, a computer/server room, a study/library, walk in pantry, attached greenhouse, catio, a meditation room/yoga studio. Aside from the obvious ones like "bathroom."

2. What is the best dessert in the world?
Yes. Although if I must pick something, brownies would be my choice.

3. What is your favorite thing to do on vacation?
Eat. Seriously. :) But then I also like to take active vacations, so there's often a running event or something else planned.

4. What is your favorite time of day?
Dawn or dusk - I like the inbetween times.

5. What relaxes you more than anything else?
Since I deal with an anxiety/panic disorder, relaxing takes on a different dimension for me. So it depends on what kind of relaxing we're looking for. In the midst of stress or high anxiety, I have what I refer to as a "rescue file," which is a bunch of pictures saved on my phone, so they're available anywhere, even offline. They're all funny and cute animal photos. If I have net access sometimes scrolling through funny animal subreddits also helps, like r/catswithjobs or r/whatswrongwithyourcat, and of course, r/awww.
For "normal" relaxing usually music or a novel will do the trick. Yoga works well if I feel the need to do something more active.

1. If you could build a dream house, what rooms would it have?
an atrium, a HUGE balcony (I guess that's not a room?) and a library. those are the most important parts. I'd love an indoor fountain, too. yeah, kinda luxurious.

2. What is the best dessert in the world?
crème brûlée.

3. What is your favorite thing to do on vacation?
nothing...like, no chores, no responsibilities, sleeping in, staying up late, etc.

4. What is your favorite time of day?
the golden afternoon, as I call it. between 3 and 4:30 pm.

5. What relaxes you more than anything else?
poetry, music, art and a good film. and of course, tea :)
