Those anti-drug "just say no" ads in the 80s led me to believe there were just people going around giving away cocaine and shit. Of course, adults would say "it's to get you hooked on drugs!" Yeah, and coke costs how much an ounce? I can't even afford a dime bag, I'm eight freaking years old. I feel like hot shit when I can buy a Coke AND an ice cream bar.

I feel like I should have seen that - it was my time period after all - but I don't think I did. Or, given how I am, I might have watched and ignored it, LOL. But as one of the comments says, "That is so 80s, it's physically painful"
