My anxiety has gotten better lately, though I know it won't ever go away or be "cured," because it's haywire brain chemicals. My brain, for whatever reason, will respond to non-threatening stimuli as a threat, and will do so much more quickly than other people. Having a regular meditation practice has helped, in that sometimes I can see it starting up and I can mentally take a few steps back, but sometimes it's easy to get overwhelmed.
