i recently read of a complementary theory to spoon theory, that the author is calling fork theory. the idea being that there are only so many spoons and you can run out, but also there are only so many forks one can tolerate being stuck with. some forks are little bitty escargo forks, and others are pitchforks. so, getting traumatically scared by the roller-coaster would be a very large fork, and the cart a smaller one after it, and so on.
personally, i am terrified of all roller coasters and will never ever ever get on one. they are the furthest possible thing from fun for me, and i would totally have been crying in that situation. so i applaud you for doing it at all!
