And some places are not only noisy but they add to it by piping in music. Our Walmart started playing something over their PA system - sounds like a local radio station because you'll hear ads and news clips. It's not an improvement.
It looks like a couple of Smoothie Kings in North Carolina are to blame.
I haven't been to a SK in literally a decade though. They don't have many around here.
