Mary Oliver - 1935 - 2019

 Poet Mary Oliver has passed away at the age of 83. Ms. Oliver was a noteworthy and successful poet who composed such poems as "The Summer Day," and a personal favorite of mine, "Wild Geese."

Before widespread internet access I read "Wild Geese" in college and was so taken by it that I photocopied it out of a book at the library and carried that copy around with me for years. It eventually fell apart after many, many, many unfoldings, readings, and refoldings.
