I wanted a shade of green because green, to me, is both very soothing and very vibrant and life-affirming. I settled on that particular color because I felt like having something light that wasn't a pastel. I like mints and pale teals and such but this is different. And from a purely subjective point, I wanted something that reminded me of the color of living bamboo!
