The statue was of a kappa! That was in Kappabashi, and a lot of the shops had kappas as logos, and there were some hidden in the architectural details. Same with Cat Street - there were sculpted cats all along the sides and roofs of the buildings.

DUDE that pizza! It was amazing - the little shop had thirteen seats and we waited outside for a space. It's called Savoy and they make two pizzas - one with cheese and one without cheese. No toppings. Just pizza.
