He bought the drone about two years ago and has been flying it around locally. They're not difficult to learn to use, but I haven't really tried it yet, I'm usually the "spotter." Someone's supposed to always have their eyes on it. I think you can do without the license if you're just going to be around your own home. It's really interesting to see things from that perspective!
