Games journalism and reviews never did much for me outside of bringing my attention to something new coming out. I tend to like what I like, and despite whether it's praised or panned, it won't make much difference to me. They can be panning a game and trying to describe it as the worst thing ever and I just read it thinking, "this sounds awesome, I gotta play that." I probably wouldn't be bothering with BG if Fox hadn't already played through it and enjoyed it.
