It's been getting hotter earlier in the day where I live, so I haven't been able to do a lot of the outdoor walks/quasi-runs. DH finally allowed me to get the exercise bike for our anniversary that I had saved on Amazon, so I've started back with that. And my right knee is protesting. A lot. I tried a compression sleeve, lidocaine spray & an ibuprofen/acetaminophen cocktail to no avail. Today I put on a bit of some generic expired Voltaren he had in the cabinet & what do ya know: relief!

Too bad man-made climate change is a hoax, right?
Exactly. That's been my basic mantra as well. I can only say that around DH though who gets it. Otherwise, it would be an immediate alert to the 'red swimmers' around me.

I recently finished an interesting read that was supposed to be about genetics but it covered a wide scope of inter-related topics. Now I'm onto Sally Field's memoir. I've never really cared for her but decided to see what she had to say. I'm not very far into it but so far it's coming across very much in her condescending style.
