Oh I do know that hobble. The last time I had it badly, it was after a 10 mile-ish hike. Not a lot of elevation, but there were a lot of smallish rock scrambles to work over or around. Hobble indeed!
The pop up sounds terrific! My dad had one when he lived in Florida back in the 80's, but his was soft sided (back then? May have been all he had access to). We're looking for a fifth wheel. We don't want a super long one as some of the places we will go to don't have a lot of maneuvering space and, for now, we'll buy privately used if we can find the right one. Our eventual plan is to find some undeveloped land on water (couple acres or so, hopefully), where we can put a larger fifth wheel for spring - fall. Someday. :)
